TIROLER GOLDSCHMIED, the largest jeweller in South Tyrol, presents its fine jewellery brand LA PREZIOSA, designed and crafted in the family’s own workshop near Merano.

Our in-house brand LA PREZIOSA today comprises 16 collections, all of which are designed in South Tyrol and handcrafted from recycled gold in the family’s own workshop near Merano. LA PREZIOSA stands for elegant Italian design, exquisite craftsmanship, and contemporary spirit. The collections range from modern and timeless pieces to opulent high jewellery creations, as well as modern interpretations of traditional Alpine and hunting jewellery. Today, we are pleased to present to you the LA PREZIOSA – Josephine Collection.

“LA PREZIOSA means ‘the precious’. The aim of our collection is to capture life’s special moments forever and make them shine in their most beautiful form. Jewellery is more than an accessory, more than design and functionality – jewellery is a companion, a reflection of one’s personality,” says Hannes Gamper.

Josephine Collection – An expression of freedom and feminine strength.

With the Josephine Collection, LA PREZIOSA pays tribute to the eventful life and extraordinary radiance of Josephine Baker – an icon of the 1920s, celebrated dancer, singer, and freedom fighter. Designer Hannes Gamper was inspired by her unwavering energy, elegance, and the spirit of dance that defined her life. The delicate jewellery pieces in the collection combine 18-carat recycled gold with fine white freshwater pearls. Like in a dance, the pearls seem to move gracefully with the body, creating a play of light, rhythm, and grace. Particularly striking: the bangle with freely swinging pearl bars, which brings the lightness of the “danse sauvage” to life with every movement.

The pieces are meant to radiate lightness and joie de vivre – no matter what tomorrow brings. And they are allowed to seduce as well – with their elegance and youthful carefreeness.”

Like all LA PREZIOSA collections, Josephine is designed in our family-owned atelier in South Tyrol and crafted with the finest handwork. The pieces are made of 18-carat recycled gold and the finest freshwater pearls.
